The Dennis Kain Record Collection |
After Dennis passed away in 2012, his wife donated his record collection to the Department of Music at Towson University, asking that they remain in the same order that he kept them. However, there was no catalog of collection

The records came from individuals purchases from stores such as Korvette's, as well as gifts from friends and colleagues. Former WBAL host Bob Benson gave Dennis many records after radio stations began switching over to CD's. Dennis listened to his records non-stop in his home. He would play them for his students during their lessons, emphasizing the differences between different recordings of the same repertoire. |
